This intimate country-style hotel is situated in Gablenz, a small suburb of Crimmitschau, and can be found about 100 metres from the main road, tucked away on a romantic little woodland slope. The extension has been added to the original farm building, keeping the traditional design. The main building and annex all offer country-house style rooms with a TV and private shower. The rustic restaurant serves traditional specialities, including vegan and game dishes throughout the day. Barbecue facilities can be enjoyed on the terrace. The countryside surrounding the Sperlingsberg is ideal for romantic walks and nature hikes. Guests can explore the surrounding game reserve, Gablenz Ponds and Pleißental Valley. Bicycles can be hired for cycling across the Moselle region, to the Blankenheim Palace Museum or along the Moselle River.

Recently we have built a game reserve next to the hotel and directly behind the woodland slope, where the hiking trails lead to some beautiful walks. There is also lots to discover in the village, such as some beautiful and romantic walks around the Gablenz ponds, where there is a small park which used to belong to the manor. Our surroundings are also well-suited to bicycle tours. You can ride across the Pleißental valley to Blankenheim, to the Blankenheim Palace museum or towards the Moselle River through the Mülsen region.
